Against All Odds: The Alwyn Uys Story. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Stefan Enslin, Against All Odds tells the story of Alwyn Uys, a born Springbok rugby player, who was left paralyzed from the waist down after breaking his back in a car accident. Alwyn was never going to let that stop him and in 2019 he became the first South African paraplegic athlete to complete a half-Ironman in under 7-hours and on 13 December 2020 he became the first paraplegic to ever swim from Robben Island to Eden on the Bay (Western Cape, South Africa).
