Death Zone – Nanga Parbat depicts a unique ascent to one of the most inaccessible mountains in the world followed by downhill skiing. Nanga Parbat in Pakistan is one of the three most dangerous eight-thousanders where every fifth climber who dared to defy its dangers died. The summit became a tough challenge without any oxygen for the experienced expedition members Russian mountain climbers Vitaly Lazo, Anton Pugovkin and the Italian Cala Cement. The main problem however was to establish good communication within the team as their disagreements jeopardized the success of the expedition.
