A road movie by bike, meeting those who ride, work and fight to open the way. Spring 2021, through an initiatory 3000km cycling trip, Louise Roussel and Océane Le Pape set off to meet more than 200 women, former professional cyclists, travelers in their thirties and seventies, mechanics and camerawoman, urban and committed cyclists, an ultra-distance champion… While women are an ultra-minority in all spheres of cycling, these “breakaways” ride, fight, travel and work to change the world of cycling, their lives and the lives of those they inspire.
